1. Tell us about your business, and what is your business philosophy?
Comfort 4U was established in 2004. We are a locally owned online/mail order company. We are an honest, dependable and trustworthy business. We offer a variety of products; excellent customer service, competitive prices and we offer delivery to local customers. Comfort 4U retails nursing scrubs, shoes, licensed sports products (NCAA, NFL, NBA, MLB), medical equipment, custom logo products, gloves and many other products.
2. Why are you passionate about your commitment to United Way's Community Investment Fund?
I've donated to the United Way for years through the Combined Federal Campaign, but I'm excited about this new opportunity to give back to my community. Through the Small Business Partnership, I am helping local organizations such as Boys & Girls Club, Early Learning Coalition, St. Francis House, Peaceful Paths, ElderCare and many more.
3. What is something interesting or surprising that most people don't know about you?
I am a musician and a veteran of the United States Army. I have been married for 25 years to the same woman; we have 4 adult children and 1 grandson who is 9.
4. What would your older self tell your younger self?
Worship God with your whole heart and serve people. Don't take anything or anyone for granted. Laugh as much as possible even when you don't feel like it. Do everything as unto God and you will be blessed. Love your family and be an example to your children, the reward for this is unimaginable. Make sure to chase your dreams, don't worry, it's for the best.
5. Favorite quotes?
Silence can be misunderstood, but never misquoted!
"If you are not at the table you are on the menu" -Robert L. Frazier, III
