Help Shape Our Future: United Way North Central Florida Launches Community Listening Surveys
United Way North Central Florida is listening—and we want to hear from you.
As United Way North Central Florida begins developing its next strategic plan, we're asking residents, nonprofit organizations, community leaders, donors, volunteers, and other stakeholders to share their perspectives on the challenges and opportunities facing our six-county region.
Through three community listening surveys, United Way hopes to better understand what people are experiencing, where needs are growing, where gaps exist, and where United Way can make the greatest difference.
The surveys take an ALICE lens, looking beyond traditional measures of poverty to better understand the experiences of households that are working but still struggling to afford basic necessities such as housing, food, transportation, childcare, and healthcare.
Three Surveys. Three Perspectives.
- Community Survey — For residents of Alachua, Bradford, Dixie, Gilchrist, Levy, and Union counties. Share your experiences and tell us what you believe your community needs to thrive.
- Nonprofit Survey — For nonprofit leaders and staff. Tell us what you're seeing on the front lines, what your clients need most, where service gaps exist, and what the nonprofit sector needs to be successful.
- Stakeholder Survey — For donors, volunteers, business and community leaders, partners, and others connected to United Way. Share your perspective on our community's most pressing needs and the role you believe United Way should play in addressing them.
Survey responses will be considered alongside focus groups, community conversations, and community data to help identify shared priorities, emerging needs, and opportunities for greater impact.
This is more than a survey. It's an opportunity to help shape what comes next for our community.
